Biography

I am an Applied Economics PhD student at the University of Minnesota. My research interests lie at the intersection of environment and natural resource economics and production economics. Specifically, I study the economics of water resources, with a focus on how groundwater policies influence farmers' production decisions, and how climate change affects the costs, risks, and incentives surrounding water use and agricultural production. I am also interested in understanding the mechanisms driving the adoption and diffusion of modern conservation technologies (e.g., efficient irrigation systems, precision agriculture) and practices (e.g., reduced tillage, cover cropping), and how policy can promote the adoption of these technologies and practices to improve resource efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
