2026 Undergraduate Commencement Reception
We can't wait to celebrate our 2026 graduates on May 8th from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Ruttan Commons. We will be serving light refreshments and beverages. Your graduates will all receive a gift from the department, and the opportunity to take photos and mingle with faculty and other graduates!

Job Market Student Panel Discussion
This panel features Natalia Guerrero, Uma Parasuram, Hossam Ibrahim, and Scott Sommers (ECON PhD), who will share insights from their recent experiences on the job market. Panelists will discuss application strategies, signaling, flyouts, research presentations, and navigating different types of institutions.
The Panel will be held via Zoom (https://umn.zoom.us/j/95730382458 ), but we will also stream it in Ruttan 119, so you can attend in whichever way you prefer. There will be snacks and soda!
