Nicholas Gallagher

My research focuses on incorporating environmental and other biophysical information into economic models of agriculture to study farm operations, risk management, and agricultural policy. I rely on methods of mathematical programming, structural modeling, and machine learning to develop updated methods of tying economic models to the observed agricultural landscape.
