BSS in Economics, Brac University
MA in Economics, The University of British Columbia
Biography
I'm a first-year PhD student at APEC from Bangladesh. My research interests are partial towards the behavioral and development aspects of Economics. I did my MA in Economics from the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia and my BSS in Economics from Brac University.
I have had past lives in research at both domestic and international research organizations while working back home. I was a Young Researcher Fellow and Trainee Research Associate in the inaugural cohort of the YRF program at Brac Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD). Prior to my MA, I worked as a Research Consultant at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) for the Bangladesh office. At UBC, I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Introductory Economics courses and subsequently worked as a Research Assistant there as well.
