Biography
I am Haoyu "Francis" Fang, a third-year Ph.D. student in Applied Economics at the University of
Minnesota. My research interests lie in the domains of Household Finance, International
Development, and Behavioral Economics. Prior to starting at the Applied Economics Graduate
Program, I have completed my undergraduate studies in Statistics and Econometrics with
distinction at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
I am currently working as a consultant at the Intra-American Development Bank, and graduate research assistant at the Business Advancement Center for Health at the Carlson School of Management.
