Sarah Hagenow of Poynette was chosen as Wisconsin's newest agricultural ambassador Alice in Dairyland during the 78th Alice in Dairyland finale on May 17 hosted by Crawford County. If the name Hagenow sounds familiar, it's because Sarah's sister was chosen as the 76th Alice in Dairyland just two years ago in Lake Geneva. They are the first sisters in the program's history to serve as Alice in Dairyland.
"I am so humbled to be selected as the 78th Alice in Dairyland. I think many of you know that this has been a dream of mine for so long. I'm so honored to serve Wisconsin agriculture. This industry means so much to me," said Hagenow. "I want to thank my parents and my sister, who is my best friend, for being my cheerleaders. Thank you for raising me in an industry that is so amazing."
